Sensors as Art

I visited an exhibit by Shih Chieh Huang at the Des Moines Art Center. Mr. Huang creates kinetic sculptures using toys, computer parts, and sensors to create interactive exhibits. One of his pieces entitled Pulse, was part of the exhibit.

Oh man, the Pulse, is really cool. Am I correct that it changes (lights I'm assuming)? I love stuff like that.

Linda P had sent me an email (can't find it at the moment) about this site where you can go at night... leave your computer on and it will make art with other computers. It was really cool -- I'll send it to you as soon as I find it.

I have been continually amazed by the many and wide variety of ways people are using computers.

    Cool. Lee
